The Indian Association for Medical Informatics is the only body in India to cater for all the needs of medical and computer professionals for the enhancement of the healthcare services and innovations for innumerable number of COMPUTER APPLICATIONS IN MEDICINE AND HEALTH. IAMI is recognized internationally by the International Medical Informatics Association and is in par with similar associations in all the developed countries in the world. Many medical institutes and hospitals including AIIMS, NIMS, PGI Chandigarh, PGI, Lucknow are its Life Member Institutes.
About the Conference :
The Seventh International Conference on Medical Informatics (IAMI 2009) will be held on 13th, 14th and 15th November, 2009 in Hyderabad, an important IT destination in India. The International Conference is technically sposored by IEEE, Hyderabad Section, India. IAMI 2009 will bring together researchers, educators and medical practitioners from across the world to share the results of their research work and practical experiences. We invite technical papers describing original and unpublished results of conceptual, empirical and experimental medical informatics research. We also invite the case studies describing the experiences achieved or new ideas used in the field of medical informatics. Our goal is to provide a forum for professionals, researchers, educators and practitioners from both institutes and industry to meet and share cutting-edge advancements in the field of Medical Informatics. All submissions should clearly identify their contribution to the state of the art and their potential usefulness. Work that has appeared elsewhere (in some conference or journal) cannot be submitted for IAMI 2009. Work that is currently under consideration elsewhere (a conference or a journal) also cannot be submitted. If the paper is selected, the author, who will present the paper, must register for the Conference.
